Sharpening Iron
Sharpening Iron is a podcast discussion series where we can figuratively "hammer out" topics by sharing insights as we try to be a light in a broken world and encourage believers to live faith "out loud!"
We bring our insights to the discussion table while endeavoring to shed the baggage of our preconceived notions, looking at scripture with "NEW" eyes and allowing the Word of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to transform our minds. Being guided by the scriptures from the book of Proverbs, chapter 27, verse 17, which reads, "As Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."
The King's Forge is a ministry of Jesus Christ that emphasizes developing a personal relationship with God through serious Bible study. We promote serious stewardship of God's Word by encouraging believers to shed the baggage of preconceived notions about what they've been told the Bible contains and to engage in personal study to discover for themselves what the Bible really says. Eschewing vicarious or cultural Christianity in favor of a genuine relationship with God founded on a belief system that is based upon an intimate, first-hand knowledge of the Bible.
